With the increased media coverage, many citizens are becoming aware that 1 in 3 people will experience a mental health crisis within their lifetime. Community members need to know how best to respond effectively to people experiencing mental health problems. To meet this growing concern, Mental Health First Aid Canada offers 2 training courses which are now available in Annapolis County from your local CMHA (Canadian Mental Health Association) branch.
For information about the Mental Health First Aid Basic Course or Mental Health First Aid for Adults who interact with Youth, please see the attached brochure.
