The Town of Bridgetown is currently accepting Application for Grants from organizations which provide services or perform functions which benefit the citizens of the Town and/or surrounding area. Guidelines: Applicants are required to submit a cover letter prior to 4:30 pm, March 31st, 2010 to the Town Hall, clearly demonstrating the following: - The name of the organization, business or society # (if applicable), and key contact information - The mandate of the organization and how it affects the citizens of the Town and/or general community - Types of fund-raising that have been done to meet the financial needs of the organization - External resources available ( i.e., financial, human, etc). Applicants are encouraged to attach any supporting documentation relevant to their application. Town Council may provide an opportunity to publicly present their application. This will be done at either a regular meeting of Town Council or a special meeting specifically for this purpose, determined by Council. Council shall advise if any additional information is required. Applications may be dropped off at Town Hall or be mailed to 271 Granville Street, P.O. Box 609, Bridgetown, NS, B0S 1C0. A reminder, applications must be received by 4:30pm, March 31st, 2010.
