Jubilee Park Natural Playground to receive Bluenose Achievement Award PDF Print
teamplaypark_810bThe group behind the new Jubilee Park Natural Playground will receive the Bluenose Achievement Award from Recreation Nova Scotia on November 19. The award is presented to volunteers or community organizations to recognize outstanding achievements in the improvement of recreation/leisure opportunities locally, regionally or provincially.
The Jubilee Park Natural Playground is proof that an innovative idea and design can become an amazing reality. This natural playground went from being an idea to an official grand opening in less than two months, which alone is an incredible accomplishment. However, the real accomplishment is the incredible play space that has been created.  Its natural design fits well and gives children of all ages a fun, safe place to be imaginative and active. It has already become a focal point of the community.  To learn more about the project or to get involved, please contact Lauren Soloy at 665-4502.
