new_library_openingThe Annapolis Valley Regional Library and the Bridgetown and Area Friends of the Library Society are happy to announce that the new Bridgetown and Area Library opened its doors at 38 Queen Street on Thursday March 3 at 10:00 am. Regular patrons of the library should note a change in library hours effective March 3: Tuesday - 2:00 to 5:00 pm, 6:30 to 8:30 pm; Thursday - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Friday - 2:00 to 5:00 pm; Saturday - 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Response to the topping off of the financial campaign has been gratifying. Please visit Bridgetown Town Hall to make a donation in time for recognition (May 31). The official opening of the new library will likely take place in late spring: stay tuned!
